The Rowan Aquatic Club - YMCA Swim Team (RAC-Y), located in Salisbury, NC, is a year-round YMCA & USA swim program offering various training levels to accomodate even the most novice swimmer. RAC-Y is known as being one of the top small team YMCA based programs in the state, and we continually have multiple swimmers listed as being in the top 10 swimmers in the state, regardless of team size. We here at RAC-Y pride ourselves in pushing our swimmers and helping them develop a better understanding of themselves and helping them to realize they are capable of more than they think. We are able to help all swimmers maximize their potential by creating an environment that believes in teamwork, friendship, fun, healthy competition, good sportsmanship, and a strong sense of team. RAC-Y takes a technique-based/goal-oriented approach to allow swimmers to discover and overcome their perceived limitations. At RACY we strive to create a love and understanding for the sport of swimming, and all that it can offer throughout a child's life.
